Pongo @ Festa Avante 2022
I met Pongo for the first time at the Gate festival (Couleur Café Festival side project) in Brussels in 2021. After her concert I had a short but nice encounter and exchange with her. I liked her gig so much that I proposed to cover a full concert of her when I would be in Portugal. So after almost a year we managed to set things up and I joined her, her beautiful daughter, the band and crew at the yearly Avante festival in Seixal Portugal. We spend a nice time together during which i was allowed to get up and close with Pongo and her entourage to document the BTS, warm-up and concert. This eventually ended up in me joining her on three more dates of their European tour in 2022, to make an extended photo docu of the Pongo Tour.
