Zinneke Parade 2022 - Trompe l’oeuil

After four years of absence, Zinneke Parade was finally unleash again in its full glory. This bi-annual parade represents the “Zinnekes”, or the inhabitants of Brussels, from all regions of the Belgian capital. It’s a delightful expression of the artistic, multicultural, very colourful, yet delightfully absurd and sometimes contrasted, (but usually easy going) Brussels attitude and DNA. A truly unique event to experience !! 

I enjoyed very much taking photos during this year’s parade. The lighting conditions were quite challenging while having to move from over-casted sunny situations to very shady street environments.
